THEtThThe Lifting Operations and Lifting Regulations (LOLER) applies to work equipment used in all industry sectors.LOLER and its supporting ACoP deal with the particular risks posed by the provision and use of lifting equipment and the management of lifting operations.LOLER also applies in sectors that did not previously have any lifting legislation.

 

Requirements

# Before lifting equipment is used for the first time ,it must be examined by a competent person,familier with its operation and inspected therafter a regular intervals.

Where equipment is used for lifting people,it must be suitably marked and safe for thet purpose.
